and the story behind imoves
Hi, I'm Imogen Buxton Pickles, founder of imoves and former teacher, dance educator, and national fitness presenter.
I started imoves because I saw first-hand how movement transformed children’s confidence, concentration, and wellbeing—but teachers didn’t always have the tools or time to make it happen.
That’s why I created imoves—a platform that makes it easy (and fun!) for teachers to get kids active every day, right in the classroom. Whether it’s a dance break, a mindful moment, or a curriculum-linked PE lesson, we give teachers everything they need to bring movement into learning.
Our ethos is simple: Happy, healthy kids learn better. So, now we support 1000's teachers getting millions of children moving more every year. We're proud to work with passionate educators, trusted charities, and forward-thinking brands who want to make a difference.
